Planter Boxes - Our volunteers maintain over 50 planters.
Each one is given tender-loving care all year long, from planting them in the spring, to
watering and weeding them through the summer and fall. In winter, the planters are
decorated with evergreens, red ribbons and bows.
Union Blvd clean-ups - Our volunteers periodically ensure that the
West Islip section of Union Blvd is kept presentable.
Holiday Decorations -The West Islip Beautification Society is responsible for the
lovely holiday decorations found about town. Besides decorating the planters with pine and ribbons, trees are decorated
and pine roping and ribbons are placed along the Library fence on Montauk Hwy
and on our old fashioned streetlamps installed along Higbie Lane and Union Blvd.
